Learning Styles
In this interactive session, participants will explore the diverse ways in which people coming for advice may take in information and go on to make sense of that information. Using scenarios and examples from day-to-day practice, participants will be encouraged to consider various ways to support people in better engaging with the advice they may be offered. Framing this through a learning styles lens and exploring two different models which explore the diversity of communication (VARK and Multiple Intelligences), this participative training will offer learners the opportunity to both explore their learning preferences and consider how their communications with people seeking advice might be improved by taking on board these insights.
