About our financial education service
Our financial education service is delivered by our Financial Inclusion team, which consists of Financial Inclusion Officers, an Income Maximisation Officer and a Benefits Advice Caseworker. The team has been shortlisted for many awards including Best Financial Capability Project 2016 from the Institute of Money Advisers. The major funders for this service are the British Gas Energy Trust Solon South West Housing Association, and Bristol and Wessex Water.
Talking Money co-chairs the Wessex Financial Capability Forum in partnership with Citizens Advice Bristol; this is funded by Citizens Advice nationally.

Our Financial Inclusion team works with clients 1:1 and in group settings to deliver benefits advice, maximise income and improve confidence in managing money. You can contact the team for free advice and support if you need help with:

Online advice is available to anyone in the UK. You can access online advice here. We also offer web-based appointments via Skype. Please telephone if you would like to book a Skype appointment.
Please call 0800 121 4511 or 0117 954 3990 between 9.30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekdays and an adviser will call you back.
Face to face:
We offer a face to face drop-in advice service at our office and various outreach locations. In order for us to give you the best advice please bring any paperwork relating to your debts and proof of your income. Please be aware that our adviser capacity is limited and it may not be possible to see you straight away. Please click here for our office address and opening hours.
The Financial Inclusion team can deliver workshops to pre-existing groups on all areas of financial education including managing money and benefit applications online. To book a workshop for your service users please call 0800 121 4511 or 0117 954 3990 and ask for the team.
Make a referral:
If you work with clients who would benefit from our services and would like to refer them with their consent, please complete our secure online referral form or download our ‘Make a referral form‘ and fax it to us on 0117 954 3992.
